Be Thankful Postcards

I am now working on some fabric postcards with the theme 'Be Thankful". I have never made postcards before, and they are kind of fun!

Blogger’s Quilt Festival – Fall 2010

I am participating in the Blogger's Quilt Festival. I have chosen my "Hope" quilt to use in the festival.

When I made this, I had just found ou that both of my adult children had Bi-Polar Syndrome. I made this to let all of us know that there is always hope in everything.

I had just taken a Carol Taylor class and learned how to make her couched spirals, against a fused and couched rectangle background. It was time consuming and fun. I went a little beyond her signature sirals and added some swirls and curves of my own.

Nail Caddies

I I belong to theFiberArtTraders Group and we are doing a trade on Nail Caddies. You could make them anyway you wanted to. These are pictures of mine. I made bifolds, and Istill need to get to the Dollar store to buy the goodies for inside.
